Securing the energy supply is currently making headlines. For MAINCOR the establishment of an own and safe energy supply has not just been a priority these days. Photovoltaic roof systems and a solar power plant at the Knetzgau production site have been producing sustainable energy for years and currently cover a good 25 percent of the electricity requirement.

With the planning for its own wind power plant at the Knetzgau site, MAINCOR is taking the next important step towards the future. We asked Managing Director Dieter Pfister about his goals, the status of the planning for the wind turbine and the associated issues.
